Our Daycare
Just Like Home Family Daycare is not just a daycare, we are a safe place for your child to learn and grow. We believe that children are collaborators and learn through interactions with their peers combined with the classroom. We have created a family friendly environment that is safe for all ages, aesthetically pleasing without being overstimulating, and serves as a “third teacher” to the children within.

Just Like Home Family Daycare is licensed by the state of Michigan as a family daycare. This means we can have up to 6 children. In addition we are registered with the IRS., we provide parents with yearly statements.
We Accept Childcare Subsidy from the state of Michigan or "DHS"
Parents will need to supply the provider with a 4025 form.
Great Start to Quality Rated.
We are currently at level three of five in The Great Start to Quality process.
Child-Led Curriculum
Our Child-Led Curriculum makes it possible for children at all stages of development to learn in the same environment. Children participate in Early Literacy Activities, Science Experiments, Art, Early Math Activites, and more!

Freshly prepared, Nutritious, & Well-Balanced meals provided to all children served with Stainless Steel.

Inside Our Environment
A clean and well-maintained playroom with a variety of organized materials to encompass all types of play without causing children to feel overstimulated. Additionally, we use an air filter equipped with a special toxin remover filter throughout the day.

Brightwheel Application
All families are given a Brightwheel Account to check on their child throughout the day. Additionally, you will be able to contact your provider at any time and pay tuition online!
About Our Owner
Ms. Kaitlyn is a Child Development Specialist with over 10 years of experience working with children. Ms. Kaitlyn holds degrees in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, and General Studies from Mott Community College. Ms. Kaitlyn also has a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Oakland University. Additionally, Ms. Kaitlyn possesses over 200 training hours from the State of Michigan. She is also CPR, First Aid, Bloodborn Pathogen, and Infant Safe Sleep Certified.
