What We Offer

Freshly prepared daily meals and snacks are served to each child. Children are served milk with meals and water is available from the tap on demand. Just Like Home Family Daycare maintains an artificial dye free diet, in addition to serving and preparing food with stainless steel and glass.  Meals are nutritionally balanced according to the Mid Michigan Food Program standards. 

We are sponsored by the Mid-Michigan Food Program to provide children with nutritionally balanced meals. This means we are also subject to unpredicted onsite food inspections and evaluations. 

Just Like Home Family Daycare encourages each child to learn independence and responsibility. Our Multi-Age environment is allows children the space to learn from other children, as well as the space to teach other children.  Children are organically presented with opportunities to assert their independence through real-life responsibilities throughout the day.

Children are naturally curious. Our child led art allows children to take control of their curiosity, as well as their creativity. Children are the artists in our process over product approach to art. 

The Just Like Home Child Led Curriculum allows children to be the leaders of their learning adventure. 

Just Like Home Family Daycare provides the children with daily focused learning activities. Children will learn about letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. Children will learn at their own level in a multi age enviroment. Preschool children are provided with additional 1 on 1 time throughout the week to focus on Kindergarten Skills. 

Each child is provided their own toothbrush and is encouraged to brush their teeth prior to nap. 

Just Like Home provides each child with their own latex free sanitized 3 inch thick rest mat paired with their own blanket and pillow. 

We participate in the Great Start to Quality Daycare Rating System. 

Just Like Home Family Daycare provides each child with their own Brightwheel Profile throughout their enrollment. Parents are encouraged to dowload the app on their cellphone to keep up with their child's activities in real time. 

Just Like Home Family Daycare provides the children with monthly on site specials. Some things that we have done in the past include:
